Again, we have lost another classmate. Doris Lillie Lilley of 7429 Allenhurst Ave., Ridgway, PA 15853 passed away May 21, 2009 just a few days short of her 74th birthday. She is survived by her husband, Jim, a son, a daughter and four grandchildren. Many of you may remember her mother, Elnora, a well-known Corry musician. She used to entertain many of Doris' friends with sing-a-longs after which we would all head to the REX Theatre for the Friday night scary movie. We have recently learned that Rhae Blatt Lloyd, sister of Bill Blatt (102 Vine Ave., Greenville, PA 16125) died last January.

Since our reunion last year we have received an additional $790 in scholarship fund donations. This brings the balance to $4,162 which will enable us to meet our obligation to recipient Kari Swart of $1,500 for years 2009 and 2010. The balance in the fund will be invested with the goal of awarding an additional scholarship in 2011

The date for our annual picnic has been set for Wednesday, September 2 at the Glen Mead Lodge in Mead Park. Details will be sent by mail in August to class members living an easy driving distance from Corry. If you know of out-of-towners who will
