Sadly, Jim Hannan lost his battle with cancer and passed away at home on Sunday, February 28. Calling hours are Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Church in Corry, PA. Condolences may be sent to Joan at 1112 Gamma Road, Corry, PA 16407.

Jim was a tireless worker for the Class of 1953 Reunion Committee. Many events and annual picnics came about through the results of his efforts. We owe him much gratitude for the success of these endeavors. The committee will miss him greatly.

Jim was also member of the Scholarship Committee. A scholarship in the amount of $3500 was awarded at our 55th reunion in 2008 and we hope to award another scholarship in the amount of $2000 or more at our 60th reunion in 2013. With this in mind, we are making a donation from the class treasury in Jim's name.
