Here goes! I just finished reading many of the posts that have been written over the past several weeks. This is such a great idea. Betty mentioned about the surprise 70th birthday I had for my husband, Neil, on the 20th of June. What fun! Especially since I was able to pull it off without him ever becoming suspicious. After the service of worship everyone went to the Social Room, and it was noted that at one large table sat, Dottie Wallace, Marlene Moll, Helen Sharer, Becky Williams, Betty Taylor, and Jim Hannan. All the "girls" mentioned above had their wonderful spouses with them. And Jim's wife, Joan was there as well. It's hard for me to realize that she didn't graduate with the rest of us. All of you who know her, I'm sure can understand what I mean, as she fits in so well and is one super lady. Got a minute to look at some of Dottie and Don's daughter Cori's wedding pictures. For those of you who don't know Cori, she has Dottie's wonderful personality . . . well, Don's as well. Last Friday we met Jack and Becky (Williams) Arnink at the Holiday Inn, here in Warren, for dinner. They brought us wonderful treasures! They had pictures of family members that goes way back to 1915 that I had never seen before. And, they gave them to us. One picture was of my step-father (Paul Lines) in his army uniform when he was either in the Spanish American war or while in France during WW1. For those who may not know it, Jack's mother and my step-father were sister and brother. When Becky and I were young we used to say how great it would be if we were related. We came pretty close to it. We enjoy being together, and find that we are still able to finish each other's sentences. Which, by the way, pleases me as I have a tentency to forget something "important" I am saying right in the middle of it. Hope to see many of you at the Class Picnic in Erie. And, thanks Joe, for making me one more blogger on the Beaver Dam news.
